We don’t play with a true holding mid like any other sides in EPL. It is no coincidence we concede when our defenders are exposed against counter. But did we not win the league last season?

I am not going to make excuses like Liverpool fans do. We won the game yet lost the tie. There are several factors involved.
I have said last week about the first leg where we did not attack Spurs enough and if you can’t defend well against quality then you are going to concede.

I disagree Harry. VAR saw everything spot on last night in both games and the correct decisions were given.
The problem for me is that it’s at the expense of the game itself.
Where is football without spontaneous jubilation? Or even that gut wrenching pain when it’s against you?
Without that rush as the ball hits the back of the net?
We are now in a position where you can’t celebrate until the VAR check has been done which can take minutes to happen. Then you are celebrating a blown whistle rather than a rippling net.
It’s not football for me. Give me wrong decisions and excitement all day over what I saw last night. In both games VAR destroyed what football is all about.

Llorente’s goal was 100% a goal. I don’t even see why it went to VAR. even if it did slightly brush the hairs of his arm he got no advantage from it and would’ve scored anyway. He arm was tight against his body and any deflection off his arm (if there was one) did not alter the direction of the ball at all.
You’re clutching at straws if you’re trying to say you were robbed by a handball. It was nowhere near a handball.
The most ludicrous thing was it needed the ref to watch it 20 times to give it.
