Hi Eds, there were rumours before the summer that David Silva might end up in Spain in the summer, is there any reason why this didn't happen?

In a way I'm glad it didn't happen because it's great to have such a player in the league but in another way I'm gutted because he plays for City and he makes them tick! finding an adequate replacement for him wouldn't be easy but surely this time next year he'll be somewhere in Spain? because it seemed like that's where he wanted to go.

{Ed002's Note - The plan is that David Silva will move to Las Palmas in 2019 (if the club release him and have a replacement) or in 2020 (when his contract expires). There is a chance he might be open to moving to Girona (who are also owned by City Football Group) next season.}

Ed002, will City buy anyone to replace David Silva? Or will they use Bernardo Silva in midfield and buy another winger?

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City will continue to buy players for David Silva and anyone else who leaves to ensure that they remain competitive.}
